My portrait.

Portrait: Artist at the window
Author: Berthe Morisott
She is a impressionism artist.

AUTHOR:
Berthe Morisott was born in Bourges 14 January 1841 and dead in Paris 2 March 1895.
PAINTING:
In the painting there is a woman near a window in an armchair. The girl is dressing a white dress.
I like this painting because is very original and I like the colours ahe used.
IMPRESSIONISM:
Impressionist painters used large and visible strokes to help portray a dreamy and abstract mood. They created different textures, both visually and physically, with assorted colors layered together.  Impressionist painters developed a way of applying pigment that has been called “broken color” or “broken brushstrokes.” The paint is applied in mosaic-like patches which creates a rough irregular surface texture.
This painting is an oil on canvas.
